Working for the city of San Francisco was amazing. With the help of the technicians we conducted many different field test for job sites such as compaction testing, using a nuclear gauge, before concrete pours. We also sampled concrete, cured them in 100% humidity temperatures, then finally break at the laboratory to assure that the concrete mix design met the city’s design strength. This was an amazing experience, I was able to find my niche in engineering that I find fascinating that I hope to keep working towards.
